Obsessed

This week I can't get enough of

1. Wedding videos
I am probably a big fan and will always watch them, anytime, anywhere. Especially when I need something to perk me up, or while taking a break while studying. It is not that I am THAT desperate to get married, but it is the feeling of happiness and the in-awe moments when you are watching them. Some are not even their wedding videos, it is just their "Save The Date" video. Nevertheless, the videos are really heart warming and never fails to brighten up your day.

2. Yuna
No, not the one from Korea. It is our very own Malaysian! Although I know who she is, but sadly I have to admit I never really bothered to go and check out her songs. But, when I did, I was wondering what the hell took me so long to discover her songs. #omaigawdwherehaveyoubeeninmylife
She did Malaysia soo so so proud.

Do you know that Pretty Little Liars used her song in one of their episodes too ? ;)

Oh how I wish local radios would air more of her songs. I tell you, almost every one of them is a good song. My faves of the lot are Favourite Thing, Fading Flower and Island.

Oh, few more days and the weekend is here! Can't wait.
Here's to a good weekend you guys! x

The Simple Things

I wonder have you guys heard of The Simple Things magazine? The first issue just arrived a few weeks ago and you can't imagine how excited I was when I saw it on the shelves of MPH!
Haven't managed to take a picture of it but will do so next time, until then, here's the picture of the mag from its FB page itself, The Simple Things

I love, love , love their magazines, including their sister mag, Mollie Makes. To make everything better, I was then back home from uni for a short break, reading this mag with my favourite peppermint tea. Ahhh, talk about the perfect me-time :)

So, what are the simple things you love and inspire you to live your life to the fullest?
I am so inspired that I have decided to have posts dedicated to the simple things I enjoy, so stay tuned! :)

Bookie Time - The Book of Awesome

So, recently I have been reading a really bloody good book and yes, I HAVE to blog about it. I bought it in Book Access which is one of my favourite bookstore to go, as the books are really affordable.

*Drum rolls*
Presenting the main star :

Tadaaaa, this book here may look plain, but always, people say don't judge a book by its cover, which is true because the contents may surprise you. I thought it was a really inspiring read and it has taught me to be grateful and really learn to enjoy the really simple things in life.

So here are some things that awesome things I really like from the book :
1. When you arrive at your destination just as great song ends on the radio
Yes, this is definitely amazing. It is like the Dj and you the driver somehow can "connect", and even awesome when you found a parking space and manage to park your car perfectly. For me, the song I can't get over with is Glad You Came by The Wanted.

2. The smell of the coffee aisle in the grocery store
I tell you, THIS. This is the one. Omigosh, how it perked you up and you just feel like for a second, the world is so much better. Although I am not a 100% coffee person, believe me, as a student having her class at 8 am on some days, it is so much better.

3. Trip and realizing no one saw you
Oh, this! Ahahahahaha omigosh the memories come flooding right in! Seriously, but when there are people watching, you know what I do? I won't look around, I would just stand right back up, give my knees a lil'dusting and pretend nothing just happened. Aha, like a boss :P

But, this, me has to disagree :
==> Old playground equipment
For me, I won't even bother to get near it. I am really scared of being in pain and there is a high chance of getting your foot stabbed by a rusty nail. And a lot more complications to come.

These little things, may seem insignificant to you, but learning to appreciate these things make you a happier person. That is, for me.

Read any books lately? Share it if you like! :)

Join me for a cuppa ?

Perhaps, some days are just meant to be coffee days, or days for caffeine. For me, it is. A cup of good coffee never disappoints, and gives you the temporarily ah-I'm-in-heaven moment. I am a weird one, when I tasted something which I like, I will always order that particular drink until I am sick of it.

Coffee Bean somehow has replaced Starbucks on my list since a long time ago. Coffee Bean over Starbucks, any time. Especially their Vanilla latte, gets me going every time.

E bought me this Vanilla latte for the rest of the crew and she bought me one too, so imagine me jumping around because being too happy. For just a cup of Vanilla Latte. Hahaha, yeah that's how hyper I am. Hee.

Back in the days when I was in college, sometimes when you showed up in front of college 7 am in the morning but your class starts at 12pm.

The best thing to do - Hang out at the nearest coffee shop. This was one of the pictures when  I had my toffee Nut latte - Hot at Starbucks. I know, I know, some of you  may start giving the face saying, " How on Earth you drink hot beverages? In Malaysia it's so hot!" Heheh, at least that's what one of my besties keep telling me.
As you can see, it was really early in the morning. That's why the lighting was quite weird.

I do have to admit that the Toffee Nut sprinkles were really good!

Tempted to get off the chair and go buy some cuppa?
Stay tuned for the next post! :)

I Miss You, Granny

19th of April.

Probably one of my saddest day in my entire life.

I used to stay with my granny during my younger years.

The one who bathed me, fed me, tugging my hand to kindergarten.

still, being a young, adventurous, mischievous kid i was, always looking for 'new' things to do, which included chasing those goats until I got them really mad.

I was really a CHEEKY kid.

Wherever you are granny, you will always remain in a special place in my heart.

Sleep well, everything is going to be just fine.

R.I.P Grandma.

May peace be with you always.
